COVID POLICIES
MASKS: IF COVID is UNCONTROLLED at over 100 new cases per day in Bell County, MASKS ARE REQUIRED in class. When cases fall below 100 per day, masks will be optional. We want to keep all our families as safe as possible.
All people going into classrooms are required to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before class and recommended after class. Tables and chairs are wiped down between every class. This policy will remain in place when masks are no longer required.
ILLNESS POLICY
Keep children home if they have:
fever, vomited in the last 24 hours, rash, lice, or nits, diarrhea, eye infection, sore throat, OR they’re not feeling very good (unusually tired, pale, lack of appetite, confused or cranky).
BEHAVIOR POLICY
Every student is expected to extend courtesy and respect to everyone in class and the facility. Your child’s educator will cover their expectations in class. Everyone is expected to behave in a manner to keep themselves and others safe, ie no running indoors or throwing sharp items.
Students are expected to participate in class. If a student’s behavior or lack of participation is distracting or disruptive to other students, they may be removed temporarily from the class. If the behavior continues, their parent will be called and a behavior plan will be worked out between the class educator and parent.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Parents may receive a 100% class refund when cancelling with more than 20 days to the start of the class. Cancellations with between 20 and 3 days notice before the class begins will be refunded minus a $50 supply fee, which is provided to the teacher. The supply fee for single meeting classes and tutoring is $5. The very last day a parent may cancel is 3 days prior to the beginning of class. A parent can find someone to fulfil their spot in class to receive a full refund with the teacher’s approval.
WITHDRAWALS
A student may be withdrawn from class by providing written notice signed by their parent/guardian. All tuition for a class is forfeited and non-refundable for a withdrawal.
NO SHOWS AND SINGLE MEET/TUTORING
Be it tutoring or a single meeting class, a student who "no shows" (does not attend or let tutors know they will not be attending) forfeits the full class/tutor fee. Parents may receive a 100% single meeting/tutor refund when cancelling with more than 20 days notice. Cancellations with between 20 and 3 days notice before the class begins will be refunded minus a $5 supply fee, which is provided to the teacher.
